The wines are made from the Areni variety of grapes picked from the 150-year-old vineyard of Aghavnadzor village. About a thousand vines are grown in the garden, so wines are produced in limited quantities. Hazarvaz has a pronounced acidity, so it is recommended to drink it with spicy, more pronounced cheeses, which will not be lost in the taste, but will go parallel with the taste of the wine.
